Question for Christians

Central to a Christian's belief is their reliance on testifying Christ's divinity upon their tongues. This poses a potential problem as Prophet's such as Abraham and Moses are on the one hand revered by Christians for their faith and piety and yet on the other hand, condemned to the Fire for not stating upon their tongues that Jesus - who walked on earth, was beaten and bled, cried out for help on the cross - was God. An apparent contradiction or are the scriptures e.g. Old Testament, missing something?

However, there are verses in the Quran which imply that the testimony of one male is equal to two women [2:282]. It should be noted that it is restricted to only certain scenarios and the overall message of Islam is that both men and women are accountable for their own actions and both will be rewarded accordingly. But still, why is there a minority of cases where there appears to be a disparity in each gender's value?

To understand this you need to study the verse(s) in detail. Taking the above example, the text states, "...so that if one of them (two women) errs, the other can remind her." The point being made here is if one of the women forgets the exact detail of the incident she is reporting on. The proofs provided in this video seek to clarify any misunderstandings caused.

From my previous videos the proof has been established for following Islam and for the greatness of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Thereafter this video provides further clarity by establishing that no other scripture has been preserved in the same manner as the Quran, rather there is overwhelming proof to disprove the authenticity of other scriptures such as the Bible and the Torah. Imagine this, a Muslim attempts to blow up a Church after hearing that 8,000 Muslim men were killed by Christians in Bosnia. Well I guess the guy would be arrested or worse still, handed over to the CIA for interrogation, due to this being a threat to national security.

Now picture this. An anti-Muslim attempts to blow up a Mosque (and execute Muslims) after watching the killing of one person at the hands of Muslims. The result is that no terrorism charges are filed, in fact the case is 'deferred' for later - obviously not serious enough. Also, no coverage in major newspapers, no public outrage by the local populace, no asking for the National Front to apologise.

But then, what's the blood of 8.000 compared to 1? It all depends on whose blood it is.

This is a short video to support the discussion about God. We either believe in God or we don't - simple. However, presented before you are tangible facts. These can be summarised by the following points:-
1. The majority of people believe in God (source Wikipedia).
2. No one created God, rather this is a limitation on our part in that we can only attribute characteristics we can perceive e.g. life and death.
3. God is unique even though we can't perceive this. After all no one has ever perceived death first hand and yet it's signs are all around us - making us believe in it.
4. Belief in God not something held by less intelligent individuals, rather this includes doctors and professors.
5. If we believe that all of creation came about through some freak accident how come it only ever happened once to our world - can we really state as a scientific proof a one-off occurence? Surely it's dangerous to simply affirm a matter based upon a sample size of one?

This is a short intro on why I've decided to blog and in particular the subject I'm choosing. After living the majority of my life not believing in a deity nor having a real interest in religion I witnessed my life going from bad to worse. I endured racism due to my colour, isolation due to my interests and ridicule due to my features. Was this all that life had to give me? There was only two real solutions. One, to rebel and get my rights back through unlawful means, including terrorising those who abused me. Or, secondly, try to understand the reason for my being here in the first place. After all, there were people worse off than me. In Palestine, hundreds of thousands of people had become refugees in their own land following the creation of Israel in the 1940s, people were starving to death in Ethiopia, women were being raped every hour (if not less than that) in the USA - basically I wasn't that bad after all. But why all this oppression and why all this injustice? More critically, who would bring them all to account? Certainly not the capitalist state of the UK in which I lived in. If anything it pushed individuals more towards materialism and losing sight of people's individual rights. The answer laid elsewhere.

Here's my view on how I embraced religion and the step-by-step process I took. Feel free to share your comments.
